Team Sites
SharePoint team sites provide a collaboration space within SharePoint where a group can work together on a project. A new SharePoint team site can be created for each project that the group is working on.
Modern team sites are integrated with Office 365 Groups and deliver an effective user experience along with enhanced OneDrive capability. They are responsive by design and easy to create and use. Whenever you create a new SharePoint Team Site a new Office 365 Group is automatically created meaning users get a suite of additional functionality including a shared inbox and calendar. Similarly, the reverse also happens and whenever a new Office 365 Group is created a Modern Team Site is automatically set up with SharePoint functionality. Additionally, any existing Office 365 Groups you have will gain a new team site.
